Last winter market coming up this Saturday April 30th 10am-2pm. Next week the main summer season opens Saturday May 7th, 9am-2pm. The Market is year-round now at 2051, Kaen Rd, off Beavercreek Rd. Plenty of close parking.
It might be the last ‘winter’ season market but it will sure look like summer! We have over 40 vendors coming this week, plus great hot food and live music.
Strawberries, asparagus, peas, radishes, butterhead lettuce, broccoli, fresh herbs, morel mushrooms are just some of what you’ll find! Fresh salmon, black cod, sole and clams coming from the Coast too. For the garden we’ll have hanging baskets, fresh flowers, native plants, veggie and herb starts including the first tomato plants! ‘Taste the terrior’ with samples from 2 local wineries, Kings Raven and Forest Edge and taste local fruit brandies and liqueurs with Stone Barn Brandy Works and spirits made from fermented tea at Thomas and Sons Distillery. Double Jump Coffee is out this week at the Spring Garden Fair but the (Youth) Fresh Start Cart will be serving coffee drinks and smoothies….have patience though, the youngsters are still in training!
